Waiver, Release & Indemnity Declaration

By signing this declaration, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in badminton and related tournament activities involves inherent risks of physical injury, illness, or loss. I voluntarily assume all such risks and participate entirely at my own risk.

2. Release & Waiver of Liability
I release and forever discharge Western Badminton Inc., its committee members, organisers, volunteers, employees, agents, sponsors, and venue operators (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from or in connection with my participation in this tournament, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

3. Indemnity
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or in connection with my participation in this tournament, or from any breach of this declaration by me.

4. Medical Fitness
I declare that I am physically fit to participate in this tournament and have no medical condition that would make my participation dangerous to myself or others, except as disclosed in the registration form. I understand that the organisers do not provide medical insurance for participants.

5. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I authorise the organisers to arrange medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to provide consent. I accept responsibility for all costs of such medical treatment.

6. Casual-Player Eligibility
I declare that I have not competed in, represented, or been selected for any Open-level, State-level, National-level, or International-level badminton competition in any capacity, and I am eligible for casual-player events only. I understand that misrepresentation will result in immediate disqualification, a permanent ban from future events, forfeiture of prizes, and no refund of fees paid.

7. Code of Conduct
I agree to abide by the tournament guidelines, code of conduct, and all rules set by the organisers. I understand that breaches may result in disqualification without refund.

8. Photography & Media
I consent to photographs and videos being taken during the tournament and their use by Western Badminton Inc. for promotional purposes. I will notify the organisers before the event if I wish to opt out.

9. Refund Policy Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that full refunds are available up to 7 days before the event only. No refunds will be issued within 7 days unless due to injury or medical reasons (medical certificate required). No refunds for no-shows, disqualification, or misrepresentation.

10. Governing Law
This declaration is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. I submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any dispute arising from this declaration or my participation in the tournament.

11. Acknowledgement
I have read and understood this Waiver, Release & Indemnity Declaration in its entirety. I sign it voluntarily and intend it to be a complete release of liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
