Who is behind this website?
Western Badminton Inc. (WBi), ABN 82 186 316 447, is the publisher of this website. Our public pages bring together club sessions, tournament results, community photographs and practical reading for badminton players. Session listings and club guidelines explain how to take part. Confirm availability and arrangements with the organiser before travelling.
Articles credited to “Western Badminton” are published under the club’s organisational byline. That byline does not mean that an individual qualified coach, clinician or equipment technician reviewed the article.
What kind of content are you reading?
- Club reporting: tournament recaps, photographs and acknowledgements describe WBi’s own activities. Captions distinguish an event photograph from a demonstration.
- Practical guides: explain a particular question and link to relevant references. They are general information, not individual coaching, medical advice or a manufacturer’s service manual.
- Tools: our calculator uses the numbers you enter, not live venue quotes. The rules quiz explains its scoring format. Checklists are starting points to adapt, not guarantees of a safe or compliant event.
- The Victoria tournament calendar: a researched directory of WBi and other organisers’ events. Original organiser sources, a checked date and unconfirmed listings are shown separately. We do not run every listed event.
Sources, images and limitations
Use the sources and context supplied in each article to distinguish published records from WBi’s own observations and suggestions. Tournament photographs are not substitutes for close-up technique demonstrations. Our annotated rally connects its analysis to the actual footage and still frames.
Some drafts and technical work may use AI-assisted tools. That is not evidence of first-hand experience or a professional qualification. We do not present invented interviews, testimonials or AI-generated demonstrations as real WBi evidence. Where a contributor, qualification or hands-on test is not identified, do not assume one.
Publication and update dates describe the article, not a promise that every linked price, timetable or third-party programme remains current. Check with the original provider for details that may change.
