Our Badminton at the WBi Flagship Doubles Tournament 2026 — technology with a community purpose.

On 10 October 2026, WBi celebrated more than a day of badminton. The Flagship Doubles Tournament also marked a successful real-world beta for Our Badminton: bringing tournament administration and the player experience together around the needs of our community.

Behind that milestone is AGSA Consulting, empowering WBi with technology that supports the people organising the game. From tournament preparation to everyday socials and club administration, the goal is simple: make operations easier to manage, so more attention can stay on the players.

A community event. Many moving parts.

A player sees a draw, a court and a match time. Behind those details is a team coordinating registrations, partners, categories, check-in, officials, schedules and results. The challenge is keeping that information connected while people are busy delivering the event.

For WBi, Our Badminton brings these tasks into a shared platform. It gives organisers a structured way to prepare and run the competition, with a player-facing Tournament Centre to share its progress.

From preparation to play: the beta in action

The Flagship Doubles Tournament gave Our Badminton a real event in which to support WBi’s workflows: managing registrations, creating draws, scheduling matches and sharing results. It was an important step from developing features to using them alongside the organising team on tournament day.

The success was in bringing those connected tasks into practical use. Officials and volunteers remained central to the event, with the platform supporting their coordination and giving players a place to follow the competition.

Digital check-in

No paper check-in lists

Check players in directly against their tournament registration. Organisers can manage attendance digitally, without manually ticking names on paper lists.

Connected competition

No Excel-based draws or score management

Create draws, schedule matches and manage scores within Our Badminton — without maintaining separate Excel spreadsheets. Referee assignments, court match guides and score sheets support the court team.

Live results for players

Follow the scores as play progresses

The Tournament Centre keeps players connected to updated scores, group standings and knockout progression as results are recorded and published — without waiting for organisers to circulate a separate results update.

AGSA Consulting: turning club needs into practical tools

AGSA Consulting’s contribution is about more than a website. Through Our Badminton, it helps WBi connect tournament delivery, social sessions and member operations in a platform shaped around how the club works.

That means translating practical needs into useful workflows: who can update a record, how a schedule reaches an official, and how a player finds the information they need. WBi brings its community and operational experience; AGSA brings the technology to support it.

As a beta, the tournament also provided valuable opportunities to refine the platform. Real-world use helps identify what needs to be clearer, more reliable or easier to use — an important part of building a service that can grow with the club.

People + technology

The purpose of the platform is not to replace the people behind the tournament. It is to give them better tools to bring it to life.

Thank you to AGSA Consulting for supporting WBi’s digital journey — and to the organisers, officials and volunteers whose experience helps shape what comes next.

A foundation for the whole club

The tournament is one part of WBi’s year. Our Badminton’s wider club tools extend that same connected approach to the sessions and administration that keep the community active between events.

Socials

Keep the weekly game moving

Social-session management and shared venue information help organisers plan the regular opportunities for members to meet and play.

Club operations

Support the work behind the club

Member records, approvals, payment administration and role-based access give the club a structured way to manage its everyday responsibilities.

These are the platform’s wider club capabilities; the Flagship event was the tournament beta milestone.

A successful milestone. A continuing journey.

The 2026 Flagship Doubles Tournament is a milestone worth celebrating for Our Badminton, AGSA Consulting and WBi. It showed the value of bringing technology into the hands of the people delivering a community event.

It is also a foundation to build on. Feedback from players, volunteers and administrators will continue to guide improvements, as WBi and AGSA work towards an even better experience across tournaments, socials and club operations.
